However, let's not get carried away. A recent study indicated just 7% of the US population on Twitter. Even though a fraction of those will active users, that's a nice potential niche. Think about how those number might decrease in other markets. Twitter also suffers more than most from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Syndrome – consistency, useful service and content are key here to gaining traction.
